Biography:
Stella M. Aneiro, Ph.D. has been delivering technical writing training presentations to the private and public sectors for the past 12 years.

During the course of these years, services have been rendered to a diversity of companies in Puerto Rico. They range from engineering firms: CIE, Aguadilla; government agency: Banco Gubernamental de Fomento; medical device manufacturer: Guidant, Dorado, to pharmaceuticals throughout the island, such as SERONO: Manati and BASF: Jayuya; Pfizer: Fajardo, Arecibo, Barceloneta, Vega Baja, and Cruce Davila; Merck: Caguas, Arecibo, and Barceloneta; Abbott: Manati, Monteheidra; Schering: Manati; Lilly del Caribe: Carolina; Wyeth: Carolina and Guayama, Glaxo: Cidra , and Bristol Myers-Squibb, Manati and Mayaquez.

These interactions have provided a wealth of experiences and knowledge that strengthen the content and material offered in training sessions. In addition, the key asset of being fully bilingual in English and Spanish enhances the offerings by giving the presenter a broader understanding of communication / writing concerns as experienced by second language speakers.

From an academic perspective, Dr. Aneiro, professor at the University of Puerto Rico- Arecibo, has taught courses in Technical Writing, Effective Business Reports, Effective Business Communication, Public Speaking, and general ESL (English as a Second Language) courses.

Biography:

Monica Cardona has been with the Pall Corporation since 1996. She worked as a laboratory analyst and as a senior laboratory analyst in the Microbiology laboratory. She then joined the Validation group as a Validation Project Manager for compatibility and extractables projects.

Today, Ms. Cardona is a Marketing Manager with Western Hemisphere responsibility for direct flow filtration. She is globally responsible for air and vent filtration. She holds a BA in Biology from Hofstra University and an MA in Biology from Adelphi University.

Biography:
Mr. Comb has a Bachelor of Science in Biochemistry from the University of Minnesota and has been a part of water treatment studies/manufacturing for the past 30 years.

Starting at the University of Minnesota Limnological Research Center, studying fresh water issues, he later joined Osmonics, Inc. and spent the next 18 years directing the Engineered Products & Systems segment of the membrane technology business before moving into international sales for his last 4 years at Osmonics.

In 2004, Mr. Comb joined George Fischer Inc. as the Market Manager for the water treatment market and, in 2006, became the National Sales Manager for Tenergy Christ Water, LLC of New Britain, CT and a division of Christ Water Technologies of Aesch, Switzerland.

He has presented several technical papers to pharmaceutical, beverage and other industry groups speaking on subjects ranging from the 1993 impact of Cryptosporidium contamination in Milwaukee to water chemistry papers on silica, chloramines and the impact of water chemistry on membrane systems.

Biography:
Edgardo Fabregas has an MBA in Management and Marketing from Fairleigh Dickinson University, with a thesis in "The use of computers in the production process". His undergraduate degree in Accounting and Statistics is from the University of Puerto Rico. He was a Professor of Management and Systems Design and Analysis for 12 years at the University of PR. Mr. Fabregas has been with J&J for 27 years and presently is a member of the Board of Directors for GPSG where he occupies the position of Vice President Global Pharmaceutical Supply Group for Puerto Rico, Latin America and Asia Pacific. He is the top Johnson & Johnson executive in Puerto Rico.

In his 27 years with Johnson & Johnson Mr. Fabregas has held positions in finance, materials management, plant management and general management. He has participated in the pharmaceutical and consumer sectors of Johnson & Johnson both in the US and Puerto Rico. He oversees an international operation with $7 billion in sales, more than 3,000 employees and manufacturing locations in China, Japan and Korea in addition to Puerto Rico, Mexico, Brazil and Argentina Mr. Fabregas has been a Board member of various professional organizations. He is President of the Puerto Rico Manufacturers Association and Member of the Pharmaceutical Industry Association (Past President/Treasurer.) Mr. Fabregas has participated as part of the Board of the YMCA, the Advisory Board of Universidad del Turabo, Treasurer of the Alianza por Puerto Rico and a volunteer for the American Heart Association, the American Cancer Society and is a member of the Governor’s Board of United Way of Puerto Rico.

Mr. Fabregas has twice been named One of the Top 10 Business Leaders of Puerto Rico, one of the most prestigious business-excellence awards in the island. He was selected by the "Encuentro Empresarial de Puerto Rico y las Américas" as Business Person of the Year in 2003 for his moral standards, great human values, and executive skills that qualify him as a model for current and future generations.

Edgardo and his wife, Estrella, have three children: Jorge, Edgardo Jr. and Cristina.

Biography:
Jorge Luis Rodriguez Gonzalez has over 17 years of experience in the areas of process control systems, instrumentation, commissioning and qualification and computer system validation for the life sciences and electronic industry. He holds a Bachelors Degree in Electrical Engineering with a concentration in Control Systems with Dean List’s honors from Syracuse University and a Master in Business Administration with a concentration in Operations Management with Summa Cum Laude honors from the University of Puerto Rico, Rio Piedras Campus.
